Their distribution center underwent an expansion project to add a concrete slab of 120,000 square feet. The contractor proposed an extended joint spacing design and used PREVent-C ® shrinkage reducing/compensating admixture to fulfill the technique. The result was a concrete flat slab that extended the joint spacing to 50' x 60' and resulted in ZERO cracking.
