PREVent-C Achieves Zero Cracking for Industrial Concrete Floor


Located in Danville, Virginia, Intertape Polymer Group Inc. is one of the largest packaging industry companies creating protective solutions for industrial and retail use. Their distribution center underwent an expansion project to add a concrete slab of 120,000 square feet. The contractor proposed an extended joint spacing design and used PREVent-C ® shrinkage reducing/compensating admixture to fulfill the technique. The result was a concrete flat slab that extended the joint spacing to 50' x 60' and resulted in ZERO cracking.
