Intuit Enhances Sales Tax Functionality and Project Costing in QuickBooks Online


In the past month, QuickBooks Online has two major enhancements – 1) improved sales tax functionality and 2) project costing capabilities. The addition of these two features moves the functionality in QuickBooks Online much closer to that found in QuickBooks desktop editions.

Xero Supports GAAP-Compliant Statement of Cash Flows


A recent update to Xero now provides a Statement of Cash Flows, generated on the indirect method which is required under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP.) This new report template is available in Xero HQ, a hub that helps professional accountants provide superior levels of client service to their clients.
