CONSULTATIONS

Have Your Say on the M25 Junction 28 Improvement Scheme

Deadline: 28 January

Highways England is holding a statutory consultation on their M25/J28 improvement scheme proposal. They’d like to hear what you think, so please share any views, ideas or local knowledge that you may have with them.

During their previous public consultation (November 2016 to January 2017), three design options were presented: Option 5B, Option 5C and Option 5F. All three options diverted traffic away from the roundabout, with a new dedicated loop road between the M25 anti-clockwise and the A12 east bound, but each option required a different approach to achieve this.

Based on the assessment of the options Highways England has selected Option 5F as the preferred route for the scheme. This option also received the most support from those responding to the previous consultation. The scheme involves the provision of a new two-lane loop road between the M25 anticlockwise and the A12 eastbound carriageways.

To find out more about Highways England's proposal, view their consultation materials or see where you can collect hard copy consultation brochures and response forms from, visit www.highwaysengland.co.uk/m25j28.

You can respond to their consultation using any of the following methods by 11.59pm on 28 January 2019:
