Mountains – A Poetic Gaze
On January 29, the Harvard Graduate School of Design launched the exhibition “Mountains and the Rise of Landscape,” curated by Swiss landscape architect Michael Jakob. We spoke with Jakob about the intent behind the exhibition, the role of Switzerland in the global landscape architecture scene and the inner life of a mountain. Check out Gilles Jobin VR_I at Teknopolis @ Brooklyn Academy of Music Gilles Jobin has created the first ever choreographic work in immersive virtual reality. With VR_I, the choreographer invites the audience for a unique sensory experience. Equipped with virtual reality headsets, visitors navigate a real world inhabited by virtual dancers. His worked is featured as part of Teknopolis, an interactive technology showcase, which runs Feb 23—Mar 10 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
